A. Lanfranco and Associates was founded in 1983 by Alan Lanfranco

Since 1983 the firm has developed from a source monitoring specialist to include process operation evaluation, permit application assistance and dispersion modelling. The company is, by far, the most active source test consultant in the province, with four to five field crews dispatched routinely. In 2014 day to day operation of the company was taken over by Mark Lanfranco. Projects are concluded with a comprehensive technical report suitable for submission to the various regulatory agencies. The reports detail all sampling and analytical methodologies, results, QA/QC results, discussions and contain all field data sheets and equipment calibrations. The company carries appropriate levels of liability/errors and omissions insurance and is a member of the B.C. Worker's Compensation Board. Work is conducted by certified technical staff who have passed independent qualification exams in accordance with the B.C. Field Sampling Manual and ASTM D7036.
